Dashboard Experiencing Excessive Warnings

There is a new malfunction in my 2006 SL350.
The dashboard exhibits sporadic erratic behaviour, displaying a multitude of warning warnings.
Malfunction in the restraint system
The SRS system sometimes causes the rev counter, speedometer, and fuel gauge to temporarily drop to zero before returning to normal.
Spotlights flicker and headlights
Indicator for roll over bar Indicator for battery Indicator to visit workshop
The command becomes uncontrollable.
The heater controls are being modified.
There seems to be a significant amount of historical discussion on these forums on this issue and the census. If I am interpreting correctly, the prevailing belief is that the problem lies in a defective Electronic Ignition Module (EIS or EIM?).
Is that view still prevailing? Can anybody contribute to this?
If I exchange the EIS / EIM, would I need to alter the keys or is the identification process managed in a different way?
Thank you.

Have you conducted a battery test? Occasionally, a deteriorating battery might trigger a variety of peculiar alerts.

The battery is commendable.
Furthermore, it is not advisable to disclose your postcode on the forum . . .

Conducting a battery test would be my first course of action, since it is also the most straightforward and cost-effective solution.

Another endorsement for the battery as a probable cause....
Alternatively, if you would want another recommendation, where do you store it while it is not being used? Greetings | Introduction of a new member (Delicious engine wiring)

Indeed, it is widely believed that the battery, and maybe the battery cables, are the primary suspects in this case.
After successfully recharging the device and enlisting someone to read and reset the error messages, it is appropriate to address other concerns such as controllers and wiring. To do so, it is advisable to engage the services of an automotive electrician or consult with a specialised Mercedes-Benz technician in your area.
Contemporary sensors are exceptional. They provide many erroneous error messages, some of which may even be accurate.
Regarding the backdrop colour, is this automobile often utilised? How often do you drive, a few times per week, or around 5,000 miles per year? Alternatively, similar to many others, is it a vehicle that has been kept mostly in a garage and has been inactive over the winter?

Ensure you inspect the battery. It would be advantageous if you had the ability to interpret fault codes. Due to a defective Wheel Speed Sensor, many unrelated alerts such as ABS, Engine Fault, and the malfunctioning roof occurred. This was caused by the car's inability to determine its motion status.

The vehicle is often parked outside on the driveway and is hardly used, usually just for short trips, around 2 to 3 times each week.

I had the defects rectified by my local independent Mercedes-Benz expert, who also suspects a battery issue.
I have just installed a new high-quality AGM service battery. Its performance will be observed and evaluated.
Thank you for the feedback received so far.
