Could someone provide guidance in locating a provider of brand-new boot rubbers / seals for a 2004 SL55? I have only come across used seals thus far and would love to get fresh ones at a fair price.

I have not made the purchase yet, since I came across a post stating that the price is £1000. Having already invested over £14,000 in repairing the vehicle, it is now being taken back to the shop due to hydraulic leaks. My wife may strongly disapprove of spending such a significant amount on boot seals.

I empathise with your suffering, my friend.
If you get a pricing from MB, I recommend checking out the MB Newcastle/smart eBay page. Send them an email. Highly efficient individuals

Have they become irreparable?
I just had my vehicle serviced. However, it has been stored in a garage during its entire lifespan and was only experiencing a little water leakage issue.
I had a conversation with an individual who provided an estimated cost of about $400-800 for the repair. It may be advantageous to contact several establishments to compare prices.

Thank you for the information. Upon investigation, I discovered that the source of the leak was my rear spoiler. After addressing this issue, I have seen that the trunk is now free from moisture.
