I am now considering buying a G30 520d. I have come across a couple options that meet my requirements, and the most recent one is a 19 plate model with over 100,000 miles on it.

I want guidance from other owners about what aspects to consider and if the substantial mileage should be a cause for worry.

The iDrive hard disc drive malfunctions, causing the cessation of over-the-air updates despite having been paid for. The batteries of TPMS sensors get depleted.

Automatic or manual? Because the gearbox could need maintenance if it is an automatic transmission, but it is likely that it has been driven gently on the motorway.If I were to purchase a car with a high mileage, I would like it to have previously undergone maintenance.
