Problem with HomeLink?

I am unsure whether the problem is with me or if there is a genuine issue with the HomeLink system in the vehicle. I attempted to set up the homelink feature with my Chamberlain Garage Door openers from 2017, which include a learn button, but I have been unable in making it function. My attempts to make it function have been inconsistent, sometimes it spontaneously opens or closes when I touch the buttons.
I purchased an inexpensive wireless remote from Amazon for $12, and it works well. The problem may lie in my operation or there might be a malfunction in the HomeLink system.
My CX-5 never had any difficulties setting up or operating the same garage door system.
I successfully synchronised my garage door openers with the HomeLink system. Nevertheless, I am still perplexed as to why I needed to get a HomeLink Bridge device to establish a connection between them. Upon more investigation, I discovered that older vehicles, namely those from the mid-2000s and before, need a repeater/bridging device to connect to Security 2.0+ garage openers. My Chamberlain has Security + 2.0 and the Mazda Auto-dimming rear view mirror is expected to be compatible with it as it adheres to the new standard. The HomeLink compatibility list includes all 2024 CX5, CX30, and 50 models as compatible with my garage door system. It is assumed that they use similar technology, although this is not confirmed.
I saw a video on YouTube of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma experiencing the same problem. The individual in the video had to purchase a bridging device for it to function with a new Chamberlain. Many videos show individuals encountering this problem with ancient autos and modern garage openers. It only found one video using a more recent model automobile as an example.
Hopefully this information can assist others, since I found it quite puzzling for more than a week.
