Does anyone else experience problems with sunlight radiating off interior surfaces? If so, how did you handle the situation?

I concur that if the sun shines directly on the chrome handles or the leather dash at the appropriate angle, I will be almost blind. Your leather dash may have silicon shine product on it like mine does (mine was valeted before i collected it and it seems everything got a coating of dash shine or something silicon based), which I will be cleaning off as soon as possible. I've been too busy enjoying driving it to give her a thorough clean yet.

What exactly is the sun?
But, really, I've never had an issue.

neither did I. There might have been a weird reflection from the chrome handles, but it wasn't as bad as what was said above.

This is fascinating; I had to drape a towel over the control panel to eliminate the glare. It would seem that I am the only one experiencing this problem. I appreciate everyone's input.

In Oz, the sun beams frequently. I also use a cloth to cover the centre console. And reduce reflections on the speed selector with a black insert.

Thanks! At first, I thought I was the only one who had trouble with it. We drive from the UK to Austria and Italy at least twice a year. We don't like how the sun shines back at us. At the time, we also use a tea towel to cover the panel. Thanks for your answer.

I, too, am in the United States and have this problem. I have tried baseball caps, fabric, etc., but nothing has worked particularly well. The reflective console was recently "wrapped" by a company that also applies protective speed film and custom vinyl applications. I now have a gorgeous matte black console (almost an exact match for the rest of the interior) with zero reflection; the next step is to have them encase the adjacent rails.
