Is it typical to need to repair the oil cooler after driving 15,000 miles? The original equipment (OE) cooler was replaced in 2020 with an aftermarket cooler by the first owner.

No, not really. Either a substandard work using inferior components, or an underlying issue that requires addressing.

Greetings,
Currently, I am in the process of changing the O rings on the cooler. The most challenging aspect is locating appropriately sized substitutes. Mercedes Benz does not sell them individually; they are already installed in the cooler. I will provide an update once I have successfully located a source.
The seals surrender because the cooler is installed on the front cross member, and the pipes pass through the engine. In the case of most diesel engines, the vibrations of the pipes lead to early deterioration. Inadequate design that has not undergone any improvements.

Have you successfully resolved this problem? I am experiencing a same issue with my 2013 E250, where there seems to be a leak at the piping connection to the cooler.

Greetings,
Were you able to exclusively locate and replace the O rings? I had the same problem.
Frankly, I have no desire to get a new cooler. Additionally, I am faced with a few other issues, such as injector leakage, among others.
I would much appreciate it if you could respond. Additionally, I have been unable to find any videos or diagrams on how to disassemble the pipes or housing. If I were to lose a significant amount of oil, would it affect the cooler?

You may get a box containing a wide range of sizes of O-rings from online retailers such as Amazon. Over the last several years, I have successfully worked on many automobiles, and they are all now in excellent condition.

Upon closer inspection, I manipulated the hoses somewhat and discovered that one of them is leaking a significant amount of blue liquid, which is likely coolant. Is it possible to repair simply that particular hose?

I have successfully located a schematic of the cooling system. Could someone kindly provide me with the name or component number for item number 580 in these pictures? Your assistance would be much appreciated.
