Thus, the following is a summary of the events that have transpired over the course of the preceding four days.
On the first day, I used the parking brake in order to remove the shifter and thoroughly clean it. I successfully reactivated my vehicle and safely drove home from work. Utilised the air conditioning system on the journey back and proceeded to the automobile cleaning facility. While driving home, the oil light on, prompting me to check the oil level upon arriving home. I discovered that it was one quart below the recommended level. I finish it up and I am ready to proceed. Proceed to the park and then retire for the night.

On the second day, I began the day without any issues. After activating the air conditioning, I saw that the oil indicator light had reappeared. When I press the OFF button, the oil light turns off and on while the device is in operation. I have ceased use air conditioning.

On the third day, I enter and begin the startup process. The oil indicator light no longer illuminates, even while the air conditioning is being used. However, the parking brake light on the dashboard is now on, displaying the symbols "mountain lo" and a red circle with a tick mark. The heads-up display (HUD) indicates a malfunction in the head-up display controller (HDC). No special programmes are running. The transfer case switch is alternately flashing between the road and mountain low settings. The suspension system is now deactivated, indicated by the absence of illumination. Consequently, it is not possible to adjust the height of the vehicle either upwards or downwards. As I depress the brake pedal and disengage the parking brake, the vehicle emits a series of loud beeps accompanied by a message instructing me to engage the parking brake. However, when I shift into reverse, the beeping ceases, but the rear sensors detect an obstacle and emit a beeping sound. Press the button to deactivate and lower the temperature. When shifting to drive, all lights remain illuminated while beginning to move. The stability light illuminates to indicate that the system is not functioning properly. Driving seems acceptable. The first gear should be shifted at 300 revolutions per minute (rpm), the second gear around 2000 rpm, and the third gear at about 1600-1800 rpm. There are no sounds. I successfully replaced the brake light switch, recharged the battery, and inspected the transfer case, seeing a potential leakage from the seal. I performed a maintenance procedure and found no traces of metal particles. The fluid was opaque and had a burnt smell, but remained unchanged. like typical aged liquid. Is there someone available to assist me?

Has the voltage of your main battery been checked yet? When was the most recent occasion on which you had a primary battery installed? I am inquiring about this because when a battery begins to deteriorate, the voltage decreases, causing the ECU and Battery Management System to prioritise and conserve available voltage for the most critical systems. Consequently, non-essential components such as parking sensors, air conditioning, stereo, etc., start to experience issues, and the dashboard illuminates with warning lights.

Indeed, I am now employed as a shop manager at Oreilly Auto Parts, and the battery in question was obtained from that establishment. I have successfully installed an AGM battery and have been using it for a considerable period of time without experiencing any noticeable problems or complications. I recently removed it from its storage and placed it on our workbench to do a charging and testing procedure. The outcome was satisfactory initially, but it required recharging. After recharging, I reinserted it, but there was no difference in its functionality. When I connected the vehicle battery tester to the terminals, the voltage reading was at least 12.5. However, when I recently used my iCarsoft scanner, I saw a voltage reading of 12.1. The alternator is functioning properly as it reads 13.5 to 13.8 when the car is driving.

...and then the excrement made contact with the rotating blades?

Doesn't the very precise timing of this coincidence imply that it could be wise to search for water near different electrical connectors?

Rover has around one thousand of them. However, this is just an appearance.

The presence of burnt gearbox fluid, characterised by its smell and appearance, may be attributed to engine overheating, which might indirectly impact the gearbox, even if the gearbox itself was not the root cause. It is still a possibility. It will happen sooner rather than later if it is operated with deteriorating fluid.

Regardless, the ATF for ZF automatic gearboxes must be cleaned and replaced, since overheating may significantly affect its performance characteristics. Extremely!

Upon inspection, I saw the drain pipe connecting the sunroof drain to the front panel vent. When I poured water into the drain from above, it successfully exited via the hole on the side of the panel vent. I plan to undertake the task of removing the fuse panel located under the glove box. Examine and cleanse thoroughly with an electrical cleaning spray, then reinstall. The TCCM located underneath the battery might develop corrosion due to water or moisture in the connections, leading to operational problems. It has been suggested that disassembling the TCCM and applying a spray to the circuit board may also be effective. Do you have any objections?

The phrase "clutch actuator stuck" indicates that I have conducted research and it seems that replacing the transfer case motor has resolved the issue. However, I am puzzled as to why I am experiencing a lack of contact with various control modules.

Be grateful that it hasn't defecated in your morning cereal yet.
Has not missed anything else.

Did you ensure that the ignition was turned on throughout the test and that you had correctly chosen the make, year, model, and engine choice before commencing the test?

iCarsofts have confusion when instructed to test a car of a different variant than the one they are currently linked to.

Currently, I have no intention of pursuing any of those codes. Prioritise the establishment of reliable and consistent bus communications.

I would return to the first stage and ensure that the iCarsoft device was correctly set up. Additionally, I would verify that the battery is in good condition, the connections at the battery terminals are secure, and that the battery is fully charged.

Perform the scan once again.

If there is no success?

Afterwards, I proceed with the process of renewing 'ground points'. I get my CRC electrical contact cleaner and begin meticulously examining wire harnesses and their connectors. I carefully dismantle, clean, and reassemble them, thoroughly looking for any signs of damage or corrosion during the whole process.

This kind of comprehensive corrective action does not need frequent attention, but it seems that your car is long overdue for such meticulous cleaning in one or many areas along the communications network.

Keep in mind that codes are unreliable if the bus connection is not dependable.

Affirmative. Chose the appropriate year, brand, and model. 2009 Range Rover Sport. Tomorrow, during my work hours, I shall replace the current battery with a different one. I will connect it to the trickle charger and ensure that it is fully charged before installation. I will attempt to eliminate all codes from each system, then do a thorough scan and provide a detailed report of my results. Regarding the task of running the wire harness, disconnecting and cleaning it, it seems quite unpleasant. However, due to my love for my rover, I am willing to do this task if necessary.

Yes, it may be somewhat intimidating to go to the dentist. We like to avoid going altogether, yet delaying just exacerbates the situation.

It is advisable to start by thoroughly inspecting the places that are most likely to be the cause of the problem, and then gradually expand the search to other locations. This should be done as a routine maintenance activity, often once or twice every twelve years. JLR used high-quality connections and similar components. They do not have control over weather, ageing, damage, or insults from previous owners who were negligent and clueless, or attempts to fix problems in a haphazard manner.

Discovering water, signs of previous water-related harm, friction damage, insulation that has melted, wires that have been pinched or cut, any location where Bubba opted for a quicker route, completely removed a component, or failed to properly reconnect a connector, or evidence that a group of rodent offspring chewed on wires, etc. (the presence of stored acorns serves as an indicator in this case) will bring you joy rather than sorrow.

By doing so, you will have identified a specific issue to address, instead of continuing to search for an unresolved enigma!

Indeed, they are deserving of affection. My wife is not very fond of either the Jaguar or the Rover. However, she would be far less forgiving if either one of them, or worse, both, were the kind of cars that someone else used and changed the smell of the bedsheets.

As the adults have cautioned me, or so they say.

As I said, I will begin at the sunroof drain tube and trace it all the way to the end. I saw the passage of water, but this does not necessarily indicate a leak unless that notion seems absurd. I will get a transfer case motor to determine its effectiveness. A starting bid of $30 on eBay is rather reasonable. If you want to review the codes I extracted and have any other thoughts, please inform me.
