I am about to become the new owner of a C43 AMG coupe, since I have just exchanged my Jaguar XK Dynamic R for it.

Greetings, everybody.

I have had a brand new XK Dynamic R for a duration of 9 years.
I am ready to get a 2022 former demonstration C43 AMG Coupe with just 50 miles on the odometer.

I anticipate having several inquiries, but my first query is to the depletion of battery power over an extended trip, such as a 100-day cruise. In the case of my Jaguar, I mitigate this issue by connecting a CTEC charger while I am away, so ensuring that I have no difficulties.

What is the appropriate approach to handle this issue with the new car?

The CTEK charger is compatible with the C43, provided that it has a feature for stop-start batteries. I use a car cover for my vehicle as I work remotely and the car often remains parked in the driveway for extended periods of two weeks.

Thank you for your prompt response. Does the automobile possess a single or dual battery configuration, and what distinguishes the stop-start battery? Where is it situated?

A stop/start battery often has an absorbent glass mat (AGM) composition, therefore any charger must have the capability to charge an AGM battery. I own the CTEK MX5.0, which is capable of doing the task at hand. The battery is situated under the bonnet, specifically behind a cover positioned in front of the passenger side windscreen. Although it is not necessary to expose the battery in order to charge it, there is a sliding panel located in front of it. This panel provides access to a live terminal. Additionally, there is a brass earth point located further towards the front, which facilitates the connection of your charger.

Acquire a pre-owned C63.

I fail to see how that has any impact on the process of charging the battery.

Again An perfect response to my inquiry I really like participating in these boards. I received much assistance when acquiring my XKR first.

I am scheduled to take possession of this new automobile on Sunday and I am eagerly anticipating the event.

Have a great experience :)

I will soon be replacing my current vehicle with a new BMW 340i, after four years of quite satisfying ownership. Enjoyable and entertaining.
