Can someone assist with a malfunction in my x6 diesel vehicle? While driving on the highway at a speed of 60 mph, I heard a sudden noise in the engine and experienced a loss of power. I pulled over on the passenger side of the road and saw what seems to be brake fluid leaking. The garage has informed me that there is oil in the engine, but it is not functioning. Can anybody provide assistance?

Commenced driving on the highway in manual mode, use the paddles to shift gears. Reached a speed of 60 mph when the engine emitted an unusual noise and began to experience a decrease in power. Safely manoeuvred the vehicle to the hard shoulder, exited the vehicle, and opened the hood. Observed the presence of oil on the road. Attempted to initiate the vehicle, but encountered a failure to start and observed immobility of the gear shift, with all wheels locked. At the automotive repair facility, the starting motor was disassembled from the engine, although the engine remains unresponsive. No depletion of engine oil was detected; instead, a substance like brake fluid was discharged.

Does the engine rotate manually?

The garage removed the starter and attempted to start the vehicle, but it would not turn on.

I am confused by your statement that the fluid is brake fluid. It is unclear why brake fluid would seep out in the event of an engine or transmission malfunction.
Has the gearbox undergone inspection?

Do you not believe so? Valid argument I will take it to the garage either tomorrow or on Monday. Thank you.

It seems that the box is immobilised with all wheels locked.

It seems that the garage is not very helpful. The first item to investigate would be the gearbox, especially if it does not appear to have black oil.The automobile was immobilised due to a gear malfunction.
