The rail pressure is being regulated to ensure plausible delivery.
The rail pressure supply is being managed to ensure plausibility. I am experiencing an issue with my 525d vehicle, and an error code has shown. Despite replacing the fuel filter, the problem persists. Someone suggested that the issue might be related to the fuel pressure sensor or the fuel regulator sensor. I am experiencing excessive smoke during startup, accompanied by a strong chugging sound and unpleasant odour inside the vehicle. Additionally, when I accelerate forcefully, the engine light illuminates and there is a strange noise coming from underneath the car. I would like to know if replacing these sensors is likely to resolve the problem before investing in a potential solution that may not be effective. Thank you for your assistance, as I am not very knowledgeable about cars.

Performing a code scan with BMW software might be beneficial.
I must admit that I have never seen such well-structured code before.
What is the age and mileage of the car?

If the issue arose during a remapping process, I would recommend returning the vehicle to the mapper, since they may have exceeded certain limits.

It seems to be a low-quality remapping problem, as previously reported. Retrieve and eliminate it.
If you choose to have it mapped, ensure that you entrust the task to a dependable tuner. Prior to proceeding, get guidance on this platform to prevent any potential catastrophic failure.

Restore it to its original factory settings.
I neglected to note that I had an issue prior to using the map. When I had it inspected, I was informed that the diesel particulate filter (DPF) was obstructed. Consequently, I opted to have a remap performed and the DPF physically removed and eliminated simultaneously. Initially, no warning lights were present, but smoke emission persisted. Significantly after the map was installed, the rail pressure indicator illuminated, indicating that the issue cannot be attributed only to a faulty remap, since there was a preexisting problem.

However, the issue you are now facing is different from the previous one. Restoring your vehicle to its original state would be challenging now that the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is no longer there. While fitting and remapping may alleviate the symptoms, it does not address the underlying cause of the initial DPF blockage.

I would just return the automobile to them and instruct them to resolve the issue.
