On the new project vehicle, I figured I would give the 3M "fine polish" a go.
3m yellow pad paired with a 3m yellow top. After having tried other products in the Chemical Guys line in the past, I am very pleased with the results of the 1-stage polish.

The products manufactured by 3M, such as their polishes and pad combinations, are of a satisfactory quality.cool:
I'm not sure what kind of equipment you have, but you can acquire their color-coded pads in a variety of sizes; the spot pads work well for some of the more confined spaces

For years, I had been using a DAS 6 pro, but I only lately decided to give a rotary a go. I have begun with a cheap screwfix model that has a 150mm backing.
It's possible that I'll go with a more compact cordless one that has a more refined backing for the more detailed work.
I often wish that I had worn a mask, and I always regret that I didn't since cleaning up takes so long.

You may put the backing pad and spindle for the spot pads that come with a 3M headlight kit to use with any cordless drill you have. This comes with the kit if you purchase it. It ought to come in handy

You've got it! There is a possibility that I have some in the "headlight polish" box that I keep at the workshop.
