Boot problem

Greetings, I am new to this group and I am seeking assistance from anybody who can provide it. The trunk of my 2020 Evoque has unexpectedly ceased to function. After examining the discussions, it seems that there might be several contributing causes.
Do you have any suggestions or thoughts?

Indeed, there might be other elements at play, but the primary inquiry would be to identify the specific cause of the malfunction.

When I activate the boot button using either the key fob or the physical button, I just hear a few beeps and nothing more occurs. The dashboard indicator indicates that the trunk is open. The doors are now unable to lock automatically, thus it is necessary to manually shut the electric handles using the key.

Is the boot accessible? At times, my boot will open but fail to shut. My solution is to recharge the battery.

My boot does not function properly, as it does not open or shut.
Based on my assumption, it seems that the automobile is just 3 years old and hence should not need a replacement battery, correct?

The lifespan of a battery varies depending on its kind and use patterns. There are several other discussions on this topic that we should not divert our attention to at this moment. As I said before, when my boot fails to shut, it is because I have allowed the battery to get discharged. Typically, excessive short journeys or the desire to use the media system while cleaning the vehicle with open doors might cause this issue. The power consumption during such activities may be substantial, and these vehicle systems are very susceptible to disturbances.

It is not possible to have the media centre on and the vehicle doors open simultaneously, since doing so would cause the car to shut down.

I am identical to STAR89colin in that my boot fails to open when any buttons are pressed, but can be opened with my assistance.
Typically, it aligns with the battery indicator on the dashboard indicating low power.
Today, I have made a purchase of a CTEK charger in order to resolve this problem.

What unique functions does the CTEC charger provide that other chargers do not?

This particular product is specifically engineered to be compatible with the AGM battery type used in our cars.
If you are considering comparing this charger to others, it is worth noting that it has received excellent ratings for its ability to save battery life. Additionally, it provides notifications if the battery is faulty, all while ensuring that the battery is fully charged at all times.
Given that I typically drive around 3,000 miles per year and often see the battery low signal on the dashboard, this charger is well suited for my needs.
