This is a very discounted price for one of these items, considering its frequent turnover in several auctions over the last 2-3 years. Is this automobile familiar to anybody present? Why has it been a contentious issue?

The automobile seems to be in good condition and offers reasonable value. However, many individuals consider these vehicles to be outdated, since they are 16 years old and may have issues such as corroded brake pipes. The attraction of performance and specifications was significant in the past, but it has now been restricted due to the high £735 annual road tax and the prospect for expensive bills due to poor fuel efficiency.
It seems that they are not widely recognised or noticed by most individuals.
There are still several cars available with great specifications and little mileage for a price of £20,000.

I would never purchase a vehicle that had brake pipes treated with wax oil or underseal. The lack of visibility of corrosion poses a safety risk. Additionally, due to the inability of MOT testers to remove the covering, it is likely that the test will be passed even if there are rusty pipes, with just a warning stating "break pipes covered in grease or other substance".

I am also astonished that an S65AMG is being offered at such a low price!
Indeed, maintaining these cars may be rather costly, but this is to be expected considering that the vehicle itself has a price tag of £180k. While it may be possible to get these automobiles at a low cost now, I do not believe that they are suitable for operating on a limited budget. While the price of the S65 may not be as affordable as that of the V6 or V8 Mercedes models, I consider it to be one of the finest luxury sedans ever produced by Mercedes.
This particular S65 is one of the least equipped S65 models I have ever seen. In addition to the interior colour, I believe there are no other additional features present. It seems that even the Harmon Kardon system is absent, which is surprising since it is available on some S320 CDI models. If you are interested in purchasing an S65 W221, it is crucial to consider the specifications. In addition to the engine, the choices and features of this automobile are what set it different from other Mercedes models.
I am not only stating this due to my personal ownership of an S65, but I am really at a loss for words when attempting to explain the sensation of driving this vehicle, and I am not solely referring to its performance. It has a unique and exceptional quality.
If any automobile enthusiast gets the chance to purchase a vehicle equipped with a V12 engine, I highly recommend seizing the opportunity. Approach the situation with a clear understanding and practicality that there will be expenses associated with operating the automobile. Like any other vehicle, it may have issues, but if you get a reliable one, you will much enjoy having it.
It is important to note that Mercedes has only sold a total of 71 S65AMG vehicles, and according to one source, there are now just 42 of these vehicles remaining in the UK. There are 27 items that have been subjected to taxation and 15 items that have been declared as off the road (SORN). Rarely do you get the opportunity to see one on the road.

The vehicle has an attractive appearance, but its commercial appeal is restricted due it being a black limousine. Compare it to a Mercedes-Benz W140 with Diana specifications.
An exquisite SL600, known for its popularity and stunning V12 engine, did not manage to be sold yesterday despite bids reaching a mere £13k. This luxurious vehicle has a fuel efficiency of 15mpg.
The automobiles are well-crafted and provide a pleasurable driving experience. However, their market potential is restricted due to factors such as their colour, maintenance expenses, and age.

Based on my analysis of prior auction advertising, it seems that the car's value is being negatively affected by the absence of service records between 2009 and 2016.

Undoubtedly, MB will own the records. I am uncertain of the specific details of a vehicle from 2008, but the DSB was introduced shortly thereafter.

Fascinating perspective, a concept that has eluded my consideration before. Thank you for sharing.
