Is the 1016 Industries hood a worthwhile investment?

I just purchased a 2017 Plus model. I want a hood with a more assertive appearance and came across the 1016 Industries hood.

However, I saw the aftermarket hood available for purchase at retailers such as Eurobahn and Auto ID.
To be frank, based only on their appearances, the only discernible distinction seems to be that the 1016 hood has carbon fibre inserts, whilst the other hood has slits. Is the 1016 hood worth the $7,000 price difference?

I would particularly like input from anybody who own either hood.

I would inquire with Eurobahn or AutoID on the origin of that hood.
Request to engage in conversation with many consumers who have purchased the hood?
It is impossible to evaluate the level of FIT & FINISH based just on a few pictures. I am unsure whether this is of significance to you or not.

Only you can determine whether the price difference for the 1016 hood is justified.

Apologies, I am experiencing a state of uncertainty and lack of clarity. Is the purpose of sending it to demonstrate a problem with compatibility? The second shot seems to be troublesome.

Affirmative. This is an inexpensive hood that can be found on Alibaba or AliExpress. However, it is important to note that it is not entirely made of carbon fibre. The bottom section of the hood is constructed from fibreglass, which makes it more prone to breaking.
If the item is authentic, then its quality is really excellent.
I can also provide you with mine, which is a viable option that falls inside a moderate price range.

An acquaintance of mine has a 2019 R8. The hood fitment provided by 1016 industries was subpar.

Are you certain?
The price of the hood is above $10,000.

Yes, my friend. I saw him in the previous month at the Cars and Coffee event in San Antonio. R8 is among a number of his automobiles. He has installed a Liberty Walk kit on his Huracan and has his own automotive fabrication company, demonstrating his expertise in ensuring proper fitting.

The car's hood was both aesthetically unappealing and lacked a value of 10K. Following a dispute in 1016, the individual was denied a replacement and instead issued a credit. While I'm not suggesting that all 1016 goods are universally terrible, I would advise exercising caution.

Valuable knowledge to acquire! [I recently had a conversation with Long at LTMW regarding 1016, specifically two days ago.]
Is San Antonio located in Texas?
