Nox sensor problems

Hi everybody,
The 2017 model year E class w213 is mine.
When the engine warning light came on, we ran a diagnostic, which pinpointed problems with the upstream nox sensor.
I had the German-made nox sensor installed on my vehicle after ordering it online, but the check engine light returned about two hours later. They just sent me a new nox sensor, and I want to use it. A 0009053009 This is the sensor I imported from Germany; Mercedes' dealer has a different component with the same name but a higher price tag of A 000 9050914.
I'm fuming and at a loss for what to do; any suggestions?

You may be wondering why you should choose a German manufacturer over a nearby supplier.
If your emissions software was recently upgraded, you should get a new NOx sensor, and vice versa.
Due to obsolete components, the pn may be different.

locate a reliable merc indy.

Mercedes wants 500 pounds, so I had my local technician utilize Mercedes diagnostic equipment after we installed the sensor.

Hire an independent contractor. Any repairman may use a diags.

The cost of doing the diagnostic is 180£.
The diagnostics performed by my technician turned up the nox sensor upstream.

You may find many folks who have had the same issue with Nox sensors and the resulting high cost from Mercedes by searching this topic. Saving each client over £1,000 on diagnostics, the sensor, and installation must be a huge moneymaker for MB.
