The CL500 has a pin hole in the N/S strut line.

There is a little hole in the hydraulic line of my front left nearside strut, namely near the quick release connection.
After doing a thorough search on the topic, I was unable to discover any definitive information on the possibility of changing the hydraulic line of the strut without having to replace the whole strut, which may be rather expensive.
Is there any available information on this matter, or is there a possible alternative solution such as using a hose with a compression fitting to circumvent the fast fit connector? Repairing a small pinhole on a metal pipe by replacing the whole strut seems like an expensive endeavour.
Thank you in advance

Affirmative, they are replaceable. Indeed, almost every component of the strut may be substituted. Please go to eBay for the available options. If you are uncertain about your budget, a pair of remanufactured struts costs around £700, which is 50% less expensive than the price of one from Mercedes.

Specialised hydraulic hose providers may significantly save costs if they are able to remove the part themselves.
Depending on its location, of course.

Thank you to both individuals. I have searched on eBay but have been unable to identify any listings that explicitly state their accuracy. The vehicle I own is the C215 CL500. It is equipped with a line that runs straight into the N/S strut at the top, and then continues down to the fast connection. From there, a new line with a bleed valve is connected to the ABC valve block. Do you have any suggestions on what I should search for? You might consider removing the strut and bringing it to a hydraulic hose expert to inquire about the possibility of creating a replacement as a contingency. Thank you once again for your assistance so far.

What do you think of these options? Given the cost, it would be more prudent to just replace the struts.

Indeed, a local firm have the capability to manufacture a wide range of products with compatibility for various specifications. They were able to fabricate hoses for a hydraulic window system in a Buick from the early 1950s.

I have often used Pirtek services in industrial settings, however I have not utilised them for automotive purposes. It is particularly advantageous if they possess the capability to replicate hoses. Is there a farm supply business in close proximity to your location? There are several hydraulic systems present. There is a phone number displayed on the entrance of my neighbourhood establishment that is available 24/7 for emergency hydraulic repair.
An individual I know in South Africa had significant difficulty in locating a double lip seal for the steering rack of a 1988 XR6 Ford Sierra. I also faced a similar challenge for a period of time here in the UK.
Spontaneously, I went to a nearby farm supply shop and requested them to order two items for me, which were of an unusual size. Remarkably, the items were delivered to me within a day.

Thank you everyone. It seems that the items are intended for the back, but I will investigate whether there are comparable ones available for the front. Alternatively, I will promptly bring it to a Pirtek location or explore surrounding agricultural supply stores to find a suitable replacement. I will share the information I am able to organise at a later time to maybe assist others in the future. I
I also have a few openings in the front floor and sills that need to be repaired by welding. These openings were caused by the accumulation of muck in the bottom trays and side skirts, which led to corrosion. The pleasures of owning a vintage automobile.

Apologies, I was engrossed in another article discussing repairs at the back and lost track of time.
