Hello everyone, I am experiencing a low battery warning on my Range Rover Evoque, which is preventing me from starting the engine. I would want to know the location of the second battery in the vehicle.

It would be beneficial if everyone reading your article knew just which Evoque model you had.

The vehicle in question is a 2016 Land Rover Evoque, specifically a diesel estate car with a 2L engine. It is the HSE DYN TD4 A model.

I am certain that your model does not possess one. I believe the issue was limited to the first years of the six-speed automatic gearbox. To verify, you may inspect the passenger footwell. Remove the panel located behind the glovebox, gently peel back the carpet, and you will find it positioned in the center-right, securely fastened to the wiring unit.
You can measure the voltage decrease of your primary battery by using a multimeter. If the voltage is slightly over 12V or below, the automobile will not start. If you have previously changed your battery but failed to register it in the electronic control unit (ECU), this might perhaps be the cause of your issue.

The absence of an auxiliary battery in the 16 plate Evoque's eliminates it as a potential cause.

Can you confirm that the low battery notification is not referring to the key battery?

Alternatively, it is possible that the original poster did not properly programme the new battery to be compatible with the automobile.

Alternatively, the device has not been equipped with a fresh battery over its entire 8-year lifespan.

I failed to properly programme the new battery for my automobile. It has had no impact.
