Automobile folding wing mirror fuse

I am now in the process of upgrading my 2022 Kia Sportage ISG 2 to a brand new GTS Line MHEV AWD. As part of this upgrade, I am also removing the dash cameras that I had previously installed and connected myself.
I have extracted all the wires from the inside and removed the fuse jumper spur. After inserting a new 10A fuse into the designated slot, the folding wing mirrors of my vehicle no longer retract when I lock it, despite having done so before. I have attempted to resolve the issue by replacing the fuse again, but the problem persists. Does anybody have any insights as to why this may be? Thank you in advance.

Have you verified that you have used the appropriate fuse holder? Please examine the fuse box lid to confirm.

I am uncertain, but the dash cam was functioning well before I uninstalled it. Removed the piggyback lead and replaced it with a 10A fuse. After locking the vehicle as per normal, I failed to notice that the wing had not folded closed until a few hours later, causing me to believe that I had left it open. Upon inspection, I saw that the automobile was securely secured. I inspected all the fuses in the vicinity and found no issues. After consulting the instructions, I located the fuse responsible for the mirrors and replaced it with two new fuses, nevertheless the mirrors remain non-functional. Does the vehicle need driving a few miles in order to reset, similar to the tyre monitor? I have attempted to restore the cluster to its original settings, but, I have not used the vehicle for a period over 4 months owing to a physical injury.

It seems unlikely, but have you verified whether the 'welcome' option in the menu is selected? Perhaps it would be beneficial to deselect it and then re-enable it. Are the fuse door mirrors unique to this model?

The power is reaching the mirrors, unless the supply for the heated mirror is sourced from a separate fuse. The mirrors undergo typical thermal heating. The button for closing and opening seems to have some resistance, so can we conclude that it is functioning properly? I have the ability to modify the inclination of the glass on both sides, but I am unable to automatically open or shut them. The only way to operate them is via physical means.

I would have expected that the folding function requires traversal of a distinct circuit, most likely via the same module as the locking circuits. Is it possible to retract the mirrors using the switch?

The switch no longer operates the opening or closing of the devices, as it formerly did before the loss of direct current (DC). I am completely unable to comprehend it; it is quite perplexing. That is why I inquired about the reset procedure, since just clearing the alarm in the cabin was insufficient when my TPMS alerted due to pressure drop. I had to drive the vehicle for around thirty minutes until it automatically reset itself after I had adjusted the tyre pressures.

The vehicle may undergo a reset once it is driven, but I will refrain from driving it until my injuries has fully healed.

Consider deactivating the primary fuse switch and allowing it to remain in that state for a duration of 10-15 minutes. Verify whether it causes the mirrors to return to their original position.
