Greetings, everyone.
My newly purchased 2024 Kia Sportage, which is just a week ago, is unable to establish a connection with Android Auto. The system indicates that it is not compatible. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be much appreciated. Additionally, is the device wifi or wired? Furthermore, which specific port should I utilise?
Greetings

Attempt using an other cable, since the Kia system is particular about the cables it will acknowledge.

It is unconventional and necessary to use the USB A port. If you get a wireless dongle, you will need to insert it into the USB A port.

Connected. Primary USB port.

It may be necessary to activate the option for screen mirroring.

Thank you everybody for your responses. I mistakenly used an incorrect cable and sought information online to rectify the issue. According to my research, a cable may be identified as a charger if the USB end is white, but a data connection is indicated by a black colour. However, I appreciate your prompt responses. :)

I'm sorry, but that statement is incorrect; the colours really indicate the compatible version of USB. V1 represents the colour white, V2 represents the colour black, and V3 represents the colour blue.

Does "I stand corrected" imply that a blue one is superior than a black one in terms of data quality? I now own two blue ones.

Similar to every other entity, its overall quality is determined by the weakest component. Connecting a USB 3.0 cable to a USB 1.0 port will not provide any performance advantage over using a USB 1.0 connection.
