2015 Audi A5 CarPlay

I just acquired a 2015 Audi A5 and am seeking to install a CarPlay unit. Currently, I own a navigation DVD, Bluetooth, and multimedia audio, but I prefer the Apple interface.
My one issue is the need for an AMI port; I have nothing in the glove compartment and just an auxiliary connection behind the armrest.
Am I still able to get a CarPlay unit?

Examine the Mr 12v units. They use the maximum fibre for audio instead of the CD changer. AMI is unnecessary.

Numerous alternatives are available. Some use AMI for audio purposes. Others often use the AUX Input for concert or symphonic versions.
I have installed a pair from this firm.

Is a new microphone required for CarPlay, or can the built-in one be utilised?

The integrated microphone may be used.

The Mr12v device uses the pre-existing microphone.
