Conversion of E39 M54B25 to M54B30

Hello everyone, I apologise if this question has previously been addressed. I have conducted some research but have not found relevant information for my circumstance. I hope you can assist me.
I own a 2002 E39 525i, and the cooling system malfunctioned prior to my ownership. Subsequently, after rebuilding the whole system, the head gasket failed. As anticipated, during the replacement process, the threads disintegrated when torquing the head bolts.
My acquaintance has an M54B30 kit that is in excellent condition and has lesser mileage than mine, which includes: a remapped ECU with EWS removed and all new gaskets.
- Upgraded DISA valve - Oil pump lock wired
Additionally, many additional items
The only item originated from an E46. I understand that I need to replace the pan, but what further modifications are necessary, or can I just install the 330 engine with my existing wiring harness and use the 330 ECU?
I saw a discussion on EWS and ECU issues related to key manipulation and EWS bypassing. Is the purpose of uninstalling the EWS to eliminate the need for further actions?
All feedback is welcome. This is my first experience replacing an engine with an alternative, thus I want to ensure accuracy in the process.
Thank you in advance.
