2016 Kia Sedona SX

The driver's side power seat has ceased to go completely forward. The seat transitions back and forth seamlessly but halts several inches shy of complete forward position. Consistently halts at the same location. Recedes entirely. The passenger side continues to go forward completely.

I would be grateful for any assistance or suggestions.

An object has fallen and is obstructing the track.

Frequently encountered in the garage(s), a penny fell from the pocket and became lodged in the seat or at the runner.

I have inspected the tracks to the best of my ability without removing the seat. I concede that it is rather difficult to discern anything, hence I cannot entirely exclude this possibility.
What mechanisms cause the seat to halt in its designated position? It seems that if an obstruction were present on the track, the motor would persist in attempting to advance or, at the very least, exhibit some resistance before ceasing operation. In my situation, the seat returns to the same position, and the engine ceases operation immediately. I attempted to lean against the seat to see whether my resistance would halt the engine, but it did not. It continues to advance.

Memory seats?

The seat is equipped with two memory settings. My daughter's setting is almost entirely forward. Activating her preset moves the seat to its "new" completely forward position, rendering it too far for her to operate the vehicle.

I want to comprehend the mechanisms that regulate the forward and backward movement of the motorised seat. What mechanism instructs the motor to deactivate and cease seat movement?
