Greetings, a notification (highlighted in yellow) appeared on the dashboard indicating a fault in the Front Right Restraint System, accompanied by an airbag icon. Is this likely an airbag or a seat belt tensioner? Any apparent verifications to conduct. I contemplated removing the battery and then inspecting the connections under the driver's seat. I would be grateful for any assistance, since the garage is unable to examine it for many weeks.
Thank you

The only method to ascertain which SRS component has malfunctioned is by connecting the vehicle to STAR or iCarsoft for do-it-yourself diagnostics.
The main faults are a malfunctioning front passenger seat occupancy sensor (also known as a sensor mat) and the seatbelt system. The electrical connection located under the seat.
Nevertheless, even if you successfully replace the defective component by conjecture, you will probably still need STAR (or iCarsoft) to erase the problem and eliminate the warning message.
Amber messages often indicate a need for help yet permit driving, but red messages signify a complete halt and prohibit driving.

If the vehicle had dealer servicing within the previous 12 months, it will be eligible for Mobilo Roadside Assistance.
By contacting them and requesting a technician with STAR, they will visit your residence to scan the vehicle for you (you may decline to have the car towed to a nearby dealership).
The possible concern, however, is that people may not respond to an amber alert, since the vehicle remains operable. Nonetheless, it is worth trying.

Thank you for the advise. Regrettably, there is no opportunity to contact help. Must await the garage due to his STAR status.

The issue is not with the occupancy sensor, since it is located on the right side. I received the same message. ICarsoft detected an issue with the driver's seat belt buckle, which was resolved by replacing it with a part sourced from eBay.
Acquiring an iCarsoft device may be advantageous, since it recoups its cost after a few applications.
