consulted my Haynes manual, and examined Google's AI insights on the subject. It seems that the ECM lost the necessary settings to operate the engine correctly when I detached the battery to replace the inferior original equipment battery wire connections with solid brass ones. I followed the consensus of other postings, which suggested two cost-effective options to explore. I needed to retrain the ECM, so I cleared the codes and then drove around 110 miles this morning on city streets, rural roads and the interstate, enduring many restarts and the illumination of the check engine light again. Fortunately, the ambient temperature in all locations I drove through exceeded the 41.5°F minimum I had encountered. Regrettably, it stalled at every stop sign on the route to my driveway and failed to halt before entering it. At this juncture, the voltage had diminished significantly due to the several restarts, prompting me to connect it to a charger, as I was apprehensive about losing any potential "retraining" I may have accomplished for the ECM due to insufficient power

If it operates poorly after an ECM reset, there is an underlying issue that it is compensating for.
Commence with the cleaning of the throttle body.

I will attempt to clean the TB, Circuitsmith. Given its placement, it may seem challenging, although I am confident in my ability to manage it.It is hoped that there would be daylight after work. I have secured a rental for one week, hence I may return to the Hyundai during the weekend. I reviewed many postings yesterday about AUTOSPARK's search link, and I discovered that some individual successfully used a Hyundai-branded diagnostic instrument that much above my budget. I contemplate the possibility of enduring the expense of $139 per hour for a dealership to use that tool, since they should own it; nevertheless, the dealership is an hour distant and shuts while I am still at work.

Indeed, it is. The most recent codes were as follows:
P0106, P0462, P0461, P2187
I have been aware of the malfunctioning fuel level gauge since acquiring the vehicle, but I have not yet attempted to rectify it.

I resolved the issue with my Hyundai by exchanging it for a different vehicle that is ten years younger, has far less mileage, and has an extensive warranty plan.
Consequently, I would want to express my gratitude to everyone at Hyundai Forums! This group is exceptional, and I appreciate the openly disseminated knowledge and valuable advice. I really regret not discovering this establishment earlier after obtaining my Sonata. I now own a Ford and will probably refrain from acquiring any other automobiles for the following 72 months. If another Hyundai is in my future, I will return here; but, in the meanwhile, I will seek a Ford community to engage with. Thank you everybody, and cheers.

Thank you! Although this may not be beneficial as now, our vehicle (Sonata '06 GLS V6) operates well after a battery disconnection.

On the day I exchanged the automobile, it started functioning normally. The temperature that day was likewise frigid, in the low 30s. The dealership provided me with scrap value due to the many concerns the vehicle had or will possess. It is probable that it will be sent to a scrapyard, where it will be systematically dismantled and ultimately recycled. I believe the automobile was aware of this and had one more surge of vitality to demonstrate to me. The automobile functioned well throughout my possession of it.
