Greetings, we have own our GT-Line S EV3 for around one week now. I have been using the vehicle without the radio, acclimating to the many beeps. Additionally, there is a pronounced ticking sound, reminiscent of a clock's sounds. It continues to tick when at rest.
Has anybody else encountered this, and does anyone know its nature? Does anybody know how to suppress it?
Thank you
Is there a ticking clock?

I do not own the vehicle yet, but I remember a similar ticking sound on the test drive. According to my recollection, the air conditioning was off, and activating it made it silent. I inadvertently altered the air conditioning and fan settings, resulting in their disappearance.

It is unequivocally associated with the fan. Turning off the fan entirely eliminates the issue. Nonetheless, the frequency with which I anticipate driving without air conditioning and/or the fan on is negligible. It is a little issue, nevertheless I believe it should not produce such sound. I will consult the dealership; however, it would be beneficial if others could verify if they too see the issue or whether it is really an isolated incident with a certain vehicle.

My wife and I had a test drive and received the same information. I first dismissed it, but the individual from the dealership, seated at the rear, remarked that he could not see it. Undoubtedly merits examination.

It is not very loud, so I am not surprised that he did not hear it from the rear, and I am rather certain the radio will obscure it most, if not all, of the time. Nonetheless, I would like to suppress it if possible. I am heading outside to use the air conditioning and fan as recommended by @GoodBoyCar.

Kia vehicles typically operate with the fan set at level 1.
