BMW M Sport Enigma

Esteemed Colleagues
I own a 2007 BMW M Sport 325, unleaded, automatic, equipped with an all-electric sunroof, and it has just 74,000 km. The enigma is in the fact that no one can ascertain the issue; I became exasperated with spending expenses for uncertain diagnoses. Subsequently, I entrusted it to a BMW dealership in Southport, UK, for three months—resulting in no resolution. “They are unaware.” I retrieved the vehicle, which operates well despite emitting smoke from the exhaust. I would want to ascertain the underlying issue and maybe arrange for repairs at a fair cost, as well as get a MOT certificate. I have reached out to BMW UK, but they have said they are unable to assist. Is anybody able to? It is really disheartening.Thank you.

What is the colour of smoke?
What actions have been taken about it so far?
Is it N52 or N53?

Have they conducted a block test?

Likely not; they did not even deactivate the dashboard lights, and the Engine Management Light remains on.

Commence again with a someone who can conduct a diagnostic scan to ascertain the reason for the illuminated lights. Given the presence of white smoke, do a block test and proceed accordingly.
