Adaptive xenon headlights from 2014

The vehicle, purchased second-hand in 2014 from the dealer, is equipped with adaptive xenon headlights. The construction sheet indicates it is equipped with adaptive xenon 9216A2 HID (adaptive front light system).
To my understanding, the term 'adaptive' indicates that the lights pivot in accordance with the steering, similar to the functionality of older Citroën models; nevertheless, I do not see this occurring.

They adjust the height correctly upon activation, but should they rotate when the vehicle is stationary? Is there a method to ascertain their adaptive nature definitively?

If it like my Sportage, the wheels only engage when the vehicle is in motion, likely at a speed above 5 mph.

I questioned if movement was necessary, but I traversed several dark, winding rural roads and was unable to see any turns. Is it apparent?
Is there a method to discern by visual inspection? I do not want to invest time determining why things do not function, just to discover they are not adaptable. The construction sheet is not infallible; it indicates the presence of a sunglasses holder, which is absent.

It is evident on my vehicle; if you observe the beam, it should rotate in conjunction with the steering wheel.

I will need to attempt again. At one moment, when I reached the end of my lane, I believed I saw them turning, but then I questioned if I had really imagined it. I examined the rear of the headlamp for any indications, but found none. I saw the presence of two motors, leading me to conclude that if they just performed levelling, only one would be necessary.

My Proceed is also from 2014, thus I presume it is designed with the same logic; as previously said, they only oscillate left and right beyond walking speed. Additionally, be aware that they function just when the lights are set to 'Auto'; they do not activate when the headlights are manually configured to 'On'.

[The lights exhibit a little fluctuation upon activation, maybe due to my Proceed being parked on an inclined driveway.]

Indeed, I had them set to automatic. These also do a little self-leveling adjustment at first activation, which I believe is common among most xenon lights. I cannot see the left/right distinction.
