Oil leak in 520d

This morning, while en route home, my 2014 520d abruptly emitted substantial light blue smoke from the exhaust. I limped home, maybe less than a quarter mile, in fourth gear at idle. As I approached my residence, I observed that the smoke was rapidly dissipating. I have verified that there is no oil visible on the dipstick, suggesting it has all been used.

The vehicle has only accumulated 120,000 miles and has been completely serviced, although it is now due for maintenance.

My investigation indicates a potential issue with the PCV valve. Has anyone encountered this, and what are your insights regarding the situation?

Thank you in advance.

Turbo is the probable culprit, particularly if it is the N47 twin power turbo, which is known for its propensity to fail.

Thank you, SherlockHOME. Do you have any suggestions for determining if it was the cause? It occurred abruptly and rapidly depleted the engine's oil.

Remove the input pipe from the front of the engine and assess the impeller; I would wager it exhibits significant axial play.
Furthermore, if you remove the exhaust from the turbocharger, I suppose it will be significantly oily inside.
