How can I improve the transmission's response time while shifting gears? It sounds like the transmission may be "chipped."
A first-stage E61 2.5d is mine.
Cheers

Does it really matter? Can you switch between M and S with a left-hand flick of the handle, as there is no panel shifter? Will this speed up the automatic shifts?

yes,but i wouldnt go stage 3,plenty have found out the hard way,its very aggressive, also a tune by rod sutphin,he has customized the xhp tune, but again very aggressive, especially on an older car like yours, best is to buy license and do it yourself, then you can play around with it 3 tunes etc, also can keep it for another 5 times use,ie idfferent cars.

I appreciate it.
If I were to do an oil change on my own, what would you recommend? Cheers. So, I'm a BMW rookie.

If you have a dpf, you may use either LL01 or LL04.

Guys, what's the grade on that? This is an urgent matter!

This oil has a low price for an ACEA C3 grade, making it a good value.

Yes. That seems to be the question you posed, no?
