The aforementioned occurs and resembles an erratic electrical relay to the whole universe. The situation is more detrimental for rear passengers. The vehicle operates well, however.
Unusual individual.

I believe you may be accurate; the handbrake was engaging at a high position when I acquired it, but today it successfully held on a steep incline at the second notch, only to revert to a higher position later. This suggests that the cable is loose, so I will inspect it over the weekend. Thank you for the counsel.

Potential causes may include a stone lodged between the splash guard and caliper, a malfunctioning handbrake cable mechanism, such as a screw detaching from the splash guard, poor design, or issues with the rear strut top mounts.

Upon inspecting above the heat shield, one may see one or both components sinking downwards. Manipulate the wires, and you will perceive them striking the prop.

It is an inexpensive plastic bracket that was used; I did not change it or install one of the metal variants accessible on eBay. Remove the 13mm nut while the prop is in position, then detach the bracket. Drill a hole on each side and insert cable ties. Reattach the bracket and secure the cable tubes with the cable ties.

Somewhat intricate, however completed in around one hour without incurring any expenses; I accomplished two of these recently.
