My imported 2007 ML63 is equipped with an aftermarket head unit, hence lacking the COMAND system or any other Mercedes head unit. The steering wheel controls are nonfunctional, perhaps due to the incompetence of the individual who fitted the head unit, which suggests that resetting the clock is also not feasible.

The analogue clock functions properly and maintains accurate time, however it is somewhat more than two hours behind. The clock is not independently fused, and unless the iCarsoft MB2 can reset it, which I believe it cannot, the sole remedy I can propose is to remove the instrument cluster fuse (No. 11 in the dashboard fuse box) and rejoin it ten hours later at the time indicated on the clock. Does anyone possess alternative suggestions?

According to my recollection from the installation on my W211, it necessitated utilising STAR to inform the vehicle that it no longer possessed a COMAND unit (i.e., configured to Audio20 or a comparable setting). The menus were reorganised to make the clock setting accessible in the dashboard cluster, instead of being configured using COMAND.

To connect the steering wheel controls, an interface box is required to facilitate communication between the steering wheel and the head unit.

I am aware of the MOST connector box; I simply have not attended to it yet. It is not an issue.
