Greetings to everyone
I possess a 2007 535D (Pre LCI) with 190,000 miles. The swirl flaps, DPF, and EGR were removed and mapped out eight years or 90,000 miles ago.
A recent issue has arisen that I am attempting to identify before I go with the costly components gamble.
Symptoms exhibit a gradual onset (rapid turnover without immediate activation). Uneven idling and excessive smoke emission. Black smoke at idle and a significant cloud of black smoke during acceleration (this behaviour was previously absent).
I connected it to my diagnostic machine and identified the following faults: all six glow plugs, the glow plug module, the 4B10 smooth running controller, and the 4687 throttle valve actuator, the latter being intermittent.
The plugs and module have been present since I acquired the vehicle, but I finally decided to replace them all last week. Additionally, I replaced the vortex breather, as I have heard it can potentially pose issues.
The plugs and module codes have been removed, resulting in marginally improved starting; nevertheless, the other issues persist.
The vehicle continues to accelerate effectively; nevertheless, the issue arises during first acceleration, where idling appears problematic and there is a lack of responsive throttle upon commencement.
Assistance with diagnosis

Commence by inspecting all hoover hoses.

I inspected the inlet manifold when it was removed, and they appeared satisfactory upon a cursory visual examination.

Could you verify the injector correction values with your diagnostic tools?
It is advisable to conduct an injector leak-off test to see if any injectors are significantly deviating from the norm.

Is it possible for ISTA or INPA to accomplish this task? I have a cable arriving on Saturday for their use.

Indeed, it can be accomplished with ISTA and INPA.

Appearance and functionality are distinct; my E60 appeared satisfactory, although the components were soft and sealed when sucked. Replacing them is inexpensive.

Indeed, what length would be required? Assume it would be a relatively inexpensive and straightforward matter to eliminate.

One should be able to acquire 2 meters from any automotive supplier for approximately £5.

Conduct a leak-off test at no expense.
Additionally, verify or substitute all hoover hoses.
