Oil that differs for R129

Currently, I am repairing my 1998 SL500 (M113 engine, 068 vin). I have the diff oil to change in the coming weeks, but it seems like it lacks the LSD.
I would assume that any high-quality oil that is suggested by Mercedes would be suitable, since Mercedes grade oil from 1998 has been much enhanced.
Yes, I will begin by removing the filler plug.

It is likely merely an 80W90.
To verify, I require the complete chassis number.

Special oil is required if it is an LSD. Try to locate the label that reads "actung!" or the word "find" on the reverse of the diff case. Since traction control is included on most R129s, LSD is not an option.

On the off chance that they don't have a limited slip differential (LSD), GL5 for differentials and GL4 for gearboxes (barring steel synchros, which are extremely rare).
