I need someone to fix the engine on my 2017 E350e; does anybody know a reliable independent mechanic? Most ideal if located in Essex.

My friend the engine, what's the matter?

Over time, coolant seeped into the engine, causing it to misfire. I figured the plug was to blame, but even before the misfiring started, the engine was running smoothly, but now it's not. I think there's a spot that needs gasket replacement and maybe other parts that require cleaning or replacement as well.

Regrettably, I am unaware of any in the Essex area.

If your neighbourhood MB indie is hesitant to fix a hybrid's engine, I'd be shocked. Preparation for the new technology has been a constant theme in all of our conversations. (Remember that the first three years are mostly focused on MB as the chief dealer.)

No hybrids for them. They were the ones that took care of my prior w212, so I know them well.

Did anybody here see Bishop's performance in Chelmsford and have any recommendations?

Though I'm familiar with PMW from my experiences in Chelmsford, I've never heard of them.
