Cabriolet A207 Diesel 2014

I should know better; I'm in Cyprus and this is a UK site. My wonderful cabriolet has a comprehensive history and was newly purchased. It has travelled 68,000 miles. (It is disheartening to witness what passes muster for another two years, considering how costly automobiles are in Cyprus; you wouldn't believe it!) I purchased the vehicle from its previous owner, who had imported it from a UK MB dealer; he had brought it to Cyprus in 2017. I wanted to drop a quick hello. I guess that says it all... I'm a self-taught mechanic. When we left Abu Dhabi in the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to almost give up the 2013 cabriolet that we had purchased new. Delighted to have a substitute. Since no one in Cyprus thinks MB needs it (only BMW does), I skipped the battery memory reset after replacing the primary battery. The situation seems to be OK. So, I figured I'd drop over and say hello.
