A Guide to the G02 X4 M40i All-Season Tires

Hey everyone, I need some tyre advise for my X4 M40i. Staggered wheels are a first for me, and this is the first BMW I've bought.

It may get a bit snowy here during the winter and I live on a reasonably steep hill so I'm worried about the standard, Bridgestone Alenza's ability to handle with ice and snow, so I'm looking into getting all-season tires instead of having to switch between summer and winter sets.

For every season that I've searched, the only setup that has been considered so far involves switching between Michelin and Continental tires for the front and back, respectively. Is anyone familiar with this process?

I imagine you'll get a lot of different suggestions.
I got my wife a 120D f20 with a built-in GPS, dpf deletion, and cross-climate tires.
Although I have never had tires of such kind before, I had no problems keeping the road clear in icy and snowy conditions (maybe around half an inch).

Even in light snowfall, my trusty old jag—equipped with all seasons tires—could get it back to the driveway in record time, much to the amusement of the Mrs. Merc who would spin at the base of the hill.

There isn't enough snow for a whole winter setup to be necessary here.

Your car is powerful, so I recommend getting a set of winter tires and a set of summer tires. There are plenty of wheels on the market; I paid £900 for my 641M with perfect winter tires; I change them myself twice a year for about £40; and you'll feel the difference.or perhaps you're driving an incompatible vehicle.
