Resolving fuel pump issues with an S211 E55

I had a no start on Boxing Day and I found that the problem was with the wiring plug on the right side of the fuel module. There was no gasoline leak, but I did see that the pins on the lid of the module had browned. After getting the engine started by re-seating the plug on the connector, I went home and changed the pins in the wire connector, assuming everything was OK.

Months later, on a Friday, I detected the aroma of petrol and, when opening the service gate on the right side of the tanks, observed fuel collecting on top of the module. The connector's rear seal had ruptured, and it was soaked with petrol.

Based on what I've read in the previous several days, this is clearly a widely discussed topic, especially in the United States. On the other hand, I have proof that this has happened previously, which is why my automobile issue is unique. It seems that the car has an original left-hand module (with a new Febi filter), a right-hand module lid (replaced due to the previous leak), and two walbro 440 pumps that were installed fifteen thousand miles ago. I'm assuming that the remaining module components are original. Going into detail about the car's background on this subject would be too much for this space, but I'd want to get back to the topic of reliability and solve the problem thoroughly.

In my opinion, this issue arises when there is an excessive current draw, which melts the cover pins and the plastic around them, leading to a leak. This can be caused by a number of factors, such as clogged filters, age-related pump failure, insufficient fuel, a malfunctioning relay, or high resistance from deteriorated wiring. In order to make sure this doesn't happen again, I'd want to replace all of the modules and the required harness.

I saw that FCP Euro offers a whole kit with everything listed under P/N: A 21,147,00.00, but I'd rather purchase from a seller in the UK to avoid extra shipping costs and problems. Plus, their kit is probably going to cost £1500 once it lands, and they have a solid return policy. There have been accounts of major dealers receiving the incorrect pump, the sender not receiving the harness, and one pump running backwards, among other problems. Even with the new lid and the old harness, my car may still have this running backwards feature; perhaps the Walbro pumps hide it, but I'd like to know for sure.
Is there a dealer out there that has a good grasp of the problem and can provide the right parts? Regrettably, I am unsure of my next steps as my favoured dealer recently closed.
I was wondering if someone could verify if the LH module I have is the original. Perhaps it's the new one; the number 8.18 appears on the lid, which may indicate week 8, 2018.
Does anybody else know what I'm talking about? The gesture would be deeply valued.

I need assistance since the wire connector on the right side of the fuel pump module is leaking.

That connector seems strange to me, however I am not familiar with your specific problem.
Is it the first connector? It doesn't seem like those rubber bungs of the Superseal variety belong there.

I utilised the original plastic connector and new seals, but it isn't the original; I replaced the pins, as I said before. It appears that they are not compatible with gasoline.
