Re: Water Infiltration in the Trunk of My W211 E-Class!
Does water spill from any corner of the boot lid when opening it? Potential access points I have indicated the rear lights and third brake light. The dotted line should be adequately sealed with Puraflex or silicone. Alternatively, if you are inclined, you may remove the number plate surround, repla...

Re: aftermarket gearbox fluid cooler
Thank you for the valuable insight; I have heard that if the ATF does not reach the appropriate temperature, it may not engage 5th gear (locking itself out). The temperature range for automatic gearbox fluids (ATFs) should be between 140 to 200 degrees Celsius, according to my research. Could you pl...

Hello everyone, I am considering detaching the pipes connected to the gearbox oil cooler inside the radiator and installing an aftermarket cooler. My 2004 W203 M271 is reportedly prone to coolant contamination in the gearbox oil, and I believe this change might be beneficial. I suspect that the radi...

Re: The ABS light is illuminated.
Regardless of the approach, you need to remove the large 32mm nut on the front and push the drive shaft back. However, I had an issue while doing this yesterday as it would not budge. Please update us on your progress. In my case, I will be taking it to the garage next Friday where they have a 30 to...

Re: The ABS light is illuminated.
I am unable to provide a definitive answer, since I have already said that I have purchased two bearing kits, two ABS sensors, and two trackrod ends.I would attempt to perform the task independently, but it requires a high-quality press, which is not available at my local garage in the village. Addi...

Re: The ABS light is illuminated.
I believed that the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) would be regulated by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which would receive signals from the four ABS sensors located on the wheel hubs. In the event that any of these sensors fail to provide a signal (measured in millivolts), it would result in th...

Re: Receiver for the key module
Does the emergency key blade have the capability to manually open the driver's door? Is there any rotation of the barrel while attempting to spin it?

I regret to hear about it. I am inquiring if this upgrade is mandatory in the United States.
