Since the factory-fit electric bar is incompatible with your hypothesis of using alternate wiring, I would begin by checking the module and any other potential wiring issues.
They are responsible for the electrical wiring of vans, trailers, and bars. A towbar is useless without the necessary wiring.

Re: My drive does not have towing mode.
In the absence of a trailer brake controller configuration for the Mazda, it is quite unlikely that it will ever materialise. Manually disabling the automated braking is an option; I use it whenever I go into reverse.

Re: Potential alterations
Everywhere sensors (and parking assist, which I've never used!) are standard on my 2015 (MY16). The specs are Dynmic Lux.

Re: Acceleration without warning
They probably won't deploy at a distance of just two feet from the entrance. I would expect the garage door to be a major expense.
I will not decide what the reason is.

If your 212 is similar to mine, replacing the condenser should be a simple do-it-yourself project (you can even keep the front bumper).

Which tyre is it? This one on THIS vehicle? There is a difference between the two. What MB said on the filler flap and some generic tyre conversation online are the things I'd most trust. Make careful to check the pressures while it's cool, rather than standing in the light.

Re: 2004 2.5L X3 [E83 M54] Unstable Idle
The primary suspect for the M54 issue is the lower intake boot, which is inexpensive to repair, however one should anticipate skin abrasion on the knuckles.
