Visited the car wash two days prior, parked the vehicle, and proceeded to make payment; upon locking the car, the standard audible alert activated, yet shortly thereafter, two beeps emanated from the vehicle. Upon my return, the vehicle's alarm was sounding. Yesterday, the identical situation occurred at the golf course. I engaged the alarm, it emitted two beeps, yet no action ensued, or so I presumed. The alarm sounded midway down the first fairway, necessitating a return to the vehicle. Inspected all doors, the hood, and the trunk before resuming the course. As I neared the ninth hole, a vehicle was in proximity and the alarm was incessantly sounding. I utilised a manual key to secure the doors to prevent the alarm from triggering. I require assistance!

It appears to be a problem with the door lock. The classic signal consists of two beeps following the locking action.
Secure the doors and subsequently attempt to open them. If it is secured, it ought not to be opened; however, if it does, that presents your problem. If it activates, the alarm will sound, so be ready.

My friend's son examined it and verified a problem with the rear right door sensor; I have ordered a replacement and will update here if it is accurate. I appreciate your responses.

Examine the infotainment system; it will indicate the cause of the alarm.
Concurred, it appears that one of the door lock actuators has malfunctioned.

I am curious whether other Jaguars employ the same locking mechanism. The components in the xf are a recognised problem along with the window mechanism.
The manufacturer responsible for them likely had subpar quality control.

Vehicles from the same period of Land Rover utilise identical door actuators, I am aware of this
