I have just acquired a pre-owned 2017 SE Premium vehicle with less than 12,000 miles. Upon closer inspection, I have observed the presence of a low, brief humming sound that manifests while the vehicle is decelerating to a halt. The radio's constant presence prevented me from previously seeing it. The auditory perception of the sound in question suggests a resemblance to electrical components rather than a manifestation originating from the braking system. However, it is difficult to discern. Has anybody else encountered a similar auditory disturbance?

I have seen a similar phenomenon in my 2020 vehicle, which is most noticeable whilst driving. It is presumed that this is a typical occurrence. In Matt's (Carwow) video review, attention is drawn to the presence of a humming sound throughout the segment discussing "Five annoying" aspects.

Drawing on information obtained from an online forum and personal observations, it can be inferred that the auditory disturbance experienced is a consequence of the shift from a two-wheel drive (2WD) to a four-wheel drive (4WD) mode during the deceleration process. The change was noticed in real-time on the display. In synchrony with the brief humming sound, the event occurred with perfect timing.

It is logical to understand that I had not before considered the possibility that all-wheel drive (AWD) motors may produce audible sounds that are perceptible from inside the vehicle cabin.

This is my first encounter with Land Rover, and so far, I am content with the agreement I have secured. Uncertain as to whether the more expensive automobiles exhibit a comparable problem. However, it is my conjecture that Land Rover exhibits no dissimilarities from other car manufacturers. Regardless of the amount of expenditure, there will always be instances when some aspects do not seem satisfactory.

I have lately acquired a 2017 L405 Supercharged vehicle. I am now seeing the same phenomenon that you previously described. I concur with the notion that the sound in question has resemblance to an electronic auditory stimulus. The sound emitted lasts around five seconds before ceasing. It has been observed that the aforementioned phenomenon only commences subsequent to a minimum duration of about 15 minutes of driving. Have you obtained a conclusive response about the nature of this phenomenon?

I just acquired a 2020 P525 HSE Supercharged V8 vehicle and have seen the presence of a similar buzzing sound. The source of the sound seems to originate from underneath the vehicle as it comes to a halt, such as at a traffic signal. The auditory stimulus is perceived for a duration of around 10 to 15 seconds before ceasing. I engaged in a conversation with the service adviser at the Land Rover dealership in my vicinity. According to his statement, the device in question is identified as the air suspension pump.

Thank you for your response, my friend. Likewise, I share a same sentiment. The phenomenon lasts for a duration of around 10 to 15 seconds before dissipating. It does not consistently do this action. The assertion made is that the pump is responsible for the operation of the air suspension system. Did the service adviser provide an explanation that classifies the situation as normal or suggests the presence of a potential issue?

I own the same auditory experience, specifically the 2017 SE premium model. The auditory perception I have resembles that of a voluminous maritime vessel's trumpet, but at a considerable distance. Although dealers claim to be unable to perceive it, the auditory phenomenon is discernible to all occupants of the sport utility vehicle (SUV) when the radio is not in operation.

The service adviser said that the presence of the humming noise was within the expected range of regular operation.
