What is the most effective method for assessing the operational status of this blower motor? The item was shipped to me from the United Kingdom at a cost of around 60 US dollars. Thank you for your response. This is an additional item.

Disconnect the thick red and black wires and provide a 12V electrical potential to them, ensuring that the positive terminal is connected to the red wire. The wires in question are responsible for supplying power to the motor, so enabling it to rotate at its highest possible speed.

After doing a more comprehensive examination, it has been determined that the blower functions very well. However, it has come to my attention that blowers in the United Kingdom possess a distinct fan configuration, which seems to vary from the one I have obtained. Has anybody encountered or addressed this particular situation? It seems that I own one additional resistor unit, at the very least.

You are correct; nonetheless, I am unable to see any rationale for the existence of a distinction. In some automobiles, such as the Mercedes owned by my partner, a single blower is present on one side of the vehicle. Consequently, due to the mirroring effect, this blower will rotate in the opposite direction compared to the other components. The P38 is equipped with two blowers, positioned on opposite sides, and a heater box located in the middle. Given this configuration, it is difficult to discern any rationale for their dissimilarity, but they exhibit noticeable differences. I am inquiring as to whether it would be possible for you to elongate the thick black wire and alter the motor connections in order to induce a rotation in the other direction.

In my next visit to the store, I want to experiment with the reversal of polarity. I am now considering the possibility of altering the positioning of the fan blade. I will do more investigation on the matter.

There are distinct variations in blower wheels and their corresponding rotation directions. I found myself in a same situation as you. I undertook the task of replacing the driver and passenger blower motors, noting that both motors were identical and situated on the left side.

The LHD fan seems to be somewhat bigger as well. Is it so?

During the process of troubleshooting the reduced airflow from my left blower, I performed maintenance on the HVAC circuit board. I am seeking assistance in identifying the specific kind of connection used in this context. May I disassemble it and reassemble it subsequent to applying the spray? Please review it.

The IDC connection functions similarly to a Scotchloc by penetrating the insulator to establish contact with the internal conductor. Disassembling the object may potentially exacerbate the situation. They are often used in computer systems, notably in the legacy IDE hard drive interfaces.

The physical dimensions are same.
