Greetings, everyone.
While driving my diesel Insignia to Asda, I had a thought that I would like to share. I was on my way to rescue the day by purchasing food for the kids' school meal.
The temperature at my location is -2 degrees Celsius. I saw that the engine exhibited improved ease of starting, with a noticeable increase in responsiveness. The acceleration and transmission both shown enhanced smoothness, resulting in an overall improved driving experience.
Does anybody else get a distinct sensation in this weather?
It is possible that either the gasoline additive I am using or something else is causing the issue.

Cold air has greater density compared to warm air, resulting in a higher concentration of oxygen per cubic metre. Consequently, it facilitates combustion more readily.

I have also seen this phenomenon, and I own a gasoline-powered internal combustion engine. This is the only vehicle I have ever owned that exhibits enhanced smoothness when it is in a chilly state compared to after it has been warmed up.
