I am contemplating attending the 24-hour Nurburgring race this year. I have procrastinated too much to attend the Le Mans 24-hour race, but now, there is still a possibility of participating in the Nürburgring 24-hour race.

Has anybody visited this place before and can you provide any recommendations on the optimal view points, parking facilities, motels, and other relevant information?

Observing with curiosity as I would also have a strong want to go.

Apologies for interrupting, but one must appreciate these adhesive labels, often seen on a 'M' - cough - BMW!

Indeed, I visited in the year 2020. I believe that we were already staying on the Mosel for the whole week, so we decided to spend a day at the 24-hour Nürburgring. There is no need to be concerned about parking, since it has already been organised. However, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance, as it tends to become rather crowded, as one would expect.

We successfully gained access to the Mercedes VIP Grand Stand located at the termination of the starting/finishing straight, providing a comprehensive vantage point of the early bends. Although we were not authorised to be in that area, it is a common occurrence that if one seems confident and deserving of being there, they are generally not questioned.

Nevertheless, you may freely navigate various sections of the circuit to get diverse perspectives without encountering significant obstacles. An enjoyable day with a wide range of activities.

Have a pleasurable experience.

Spa is located in close proximity to the hills.
I have participated in the event on several occasions, consistently as a participant rather than a spectator.
The Spa race takes place in very picturesque settings, in my humble opinion, and is a far more sophisticated event compared to the Nurburgring 24. Fewer automobiles, however with improved entrance quality.
I saw a race being halted on one occasion due to the death of the King. However, I believe such an occurrence is very uncommon. Witnessing a racecar navigating the Eau Rouge corner is almost worth the journey in and of itself.

After participating in a whole track day at Spa in my first Cobra, I have since been unable to comprehend how anybody can confidently accelerate at maximum speed up the L'eau Rouge section! The number of automobile accidents at the summit served as a clear indicator of the frequency with which drivers made mistakes.

The phenomenon is referred to as downforce. It directly contradicts the upward force you experience while reaching the top of the slope!
Ah! and a reliable vehicle, a courageous and proficient driver, and a considerable amount of courage!

I had a high-quality automobile, but I lacked all the other items you specified.
