Corroded oil pipe in R8 V10

Hello, I am aware that this topic has been discussed before, but I am unable to locate a current discussion on it. The inspection report from December 2022 noted minor blemishing and moderate bubbling in the paint on the well-known oil pipe of my R8. I don't think the situation is worse, but I was considering making a change. Before making inquiries, I was given a quotation of £412 including VAT, along with an estimated 4-5 hours of effort. Does it seem accurate? It seems to be a lengthy process to replace a pipe, but I understand that certain tasks are not straightforward.

When my pipe was replaced, it cost around £250 for the part and 3 hours of effort. That occurred some years ago at an independent event.

The modification was done by a local business that used to service my Evo before I learned about Ricky.

It doesn't seem too negative, although they are difficult to obtain. Is the price inclusive of both the feed and return because both need servicing? I purchased the pipes from Ricky for around £520 and had the local shop do the installation along with the clutch slave line. The work cost, including the clutch line, was around £700 plus VAT, totaling over £1200, and it took 8 hours. Reflecting on my estimate, Ricky would have charged around 4.5 to 5 hours for the work.
