Greetings,

2010 635d M57D30TÜ with upgraded ECU to Stage 1, xHP to Stage 2, with DPF and EGR systems deactivated.

I am seeking guidance to navigate in the correct route. The vehicle consistently enters LIMP mode whenever I attempt to accelerate more aggressively. I began seeing this issue when we performed a customised remapping a long time ago, but it used to occur extremely seldom. Now, every time I hit the pedal.

My lack of understanding may hinder my ability to make an accurate judgement, but it seems like there is an issue with the rail pressure. I marked the area where I experienced Limp mode.

Currently, I have implemented R70 and I believe that may be the final version. Considering purchasing R90, seeking advice from more experienced individuals on the community.

Thank you!

Added more logs using the ProTool. A limp mode was triggered during the transition from 2nd to 3rd gear. The rail pressure fell while the pump was under load.

Begin by installing a new fuel filter.

Verify the functionality of the in-tank pump.

Experienced a similar problem with the engine going into limp mode at about 130 mph due to an excessive amount of fuel being delivered by the remap. After getting a fresh remap, the issue was likely resolved. Initially suspected issues with converters or the boost sensor, but then realised the remap was the cause.

The speed is 130 miles per hour. You deserve it. ;)

My highest speed was 154 mph.
Returning from a vacation to Leeds many years ago.

That is nothing. I drove at a speed of 100 miles per hour in a Nissan Leaf E+ with 215 horsepower on the A69 road.

The acceleration was rapid, reaching the limit of 10,000rpm which corresponds to a speed of 100mph.
