I am located in the northwestern region of England, in close proximity to Manchester. I have just obtained a W123 280 and I am now seeking a local mechanic or a someone with expertise in working on these old 80's vehicles. Primarily providing maintenance and refuelling services.
Assistance in any kind would be very appreciated. It is crucial that we make an effort to preserve these exceptional automobiles.

It is advisable to use a garage that has been recommended by one of the owners of the W123 vehicle on the site.Avoid visiting the smaller shops since they have little knowledge regarding the W123 and similar vehicles. What specific issues are you experiencing with the fuel system?

Thank you for responding. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate someone who is now accessible. There is a requirement for general mechanical maintenance, specifically the gasoline assembly need attention. Recently obtained new components, however the gasoline line connecting the fuel filter to the fuel line has been damaged and requires attention. The vehicle is aesthetically pleasing, with just 68,000 km on the odometer. It is a silver Blau coupe that has a visually appealing appearance. I am now considering selling it since I am feeling disappointed.

If I were in your position and you are eager to retain ownership of the vehicle, I would recommend expanding your search to a wider geographic area. Yesterday, my son and I journeyed around 100 kilometres to and from our nearby independent establishment. PCS, who made significant contributions to my 124, is now located around 600 miles away from their house.

VSB Please be patient and wait for a knowledgeable person or individuals who can assist you in finding a reputable garage.There are other automobiles equipped with the same fuel injection system as the one used in our engines.
