Greetings, everybody.
I kindly request your assistance. I am on the verge of acquiring a Kia Picanto GT-Line S!
I am considering two choices: acquiring a pre-facelift 2020 vehicle equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, sunroof, and other features, or obtaining a post-facelift 2021 automobile with an 8-inch touchscreen but lacking a sunroof, and featuring the SmartStream Engine.
If I want to retain the automobile beyond the expiration of its warranty, I could choose to enhance the engine performance to reach 140 brake horsepower (bhp). However, I will maintain the car's normal configuration for the duration of the warranty.
I would want to know whether it would be more advantageous for me to choose a Pre-Facelift or Post-Facelift option. - The price difference does not bother me (There is hardly any difference).
Aside from the changes in bodywork style and lights, the only discernible difference I can see is that the new model does not have a sunroof, but instead has an improved touchscreen and a more advanced engine. Is this accurate?
Are there any more updates and additions in the facelift model that I could regret not having if I choose the pre-facelift 2020 car?
Thank you beforehand for your assistance and direction.
Assistance is needed from someone with more expertise.

Operate the vehicle and transport them.
You may discover that the 3-cylinder engine requires 200 brake horsepower (bhp).
I was astounded by the lack of performance in terms of power with just 120 brake horsepower (bhp). Additionally, the vehicle's torque was quite lacking, resulting in a dreary driving experience.

I have conducted test drives of both the 1.25-liter and the 1.0-liter Turbo engines. However, both of these vehicles are equipped with the 1.0-liter turbo engine. To be honest, I would be surprised by the performance of either of these compact automobiles, considering that I have previously owned a Porsche 911 996! However, I have now embraced the reduced speed of driving - I only want an inexpensive option for a number of years. While maintaining the 996, I was spending $6,000 per year. Both vehicles are equipped with a 1-liter turbo engine, so there is little difference in terms of performance. The main distinguishing factors are the presence of a sunroof and the quality of the touchscreen interface. I would want to ascertain if these features are the deciding factors.

The daughter really enjoyed her Gt-S turbo. Which was purchased at their release in 2018.
Indeed, I have decided to go for the Turbo GT-Line S model. Before deciding on a facelift, I would want to inquire about any potential concerns you may have had with the new engines introduced in late 2020. Specifically, I am interested in knowing whether you have experienced any problems related to carbon build-up, difficulties with starting the vehicle, or reduced performance at low speeds in cold weather.

It seems that the later models of the engine are in more demand. The early models had issues with the combustion of waste oil and the accumulation of carbon deposits. Although I am not quite sure about the specifics, I would recommend opting for a later model.
That information is quite helpful, I appreciate it. Presumably, the 1.0l turbo engine was upgraded to the SmartStream ones in 2020 for a specific purpose. Furthermore, I can easily do without a sunroof as the amount of sunlight we get in the UK is not substantial.

Since 2020, my daughter has driven less than 600 miles every year and has never had any problems. When the P/X was still operating on its original battery, it consistently began without any issues, even though it was often left unused for a month at a time.
The amount received upon sale was less than $15,000.
