Greetings, everyone. since a new owner, I am little perplexed about the frequency and quantity of adblue to add to my 2018 Evoke. The vehicle provides information on the mileage at which adblue should be added, but does not specify the exact amount. I would want to know the recommended distance at which I should top up the adblue and the appropriate quantity, since I have come across information suggesting that excessive adblue might potentially harm the sensor.
Thank you.

To adopt a proactive approach, it is advisable to regularly inspect and replenish the necessary fluids in your vehicle every 5,000 to 6,000 miles, taking into account your individual driving patterns and environmental circumstances.
The volume of the AdBlue tank in your Evoque is around 15 litres. When you hear a low-level alert, adding around 10 litres is often enough and secure.
Refrain from exceeding the tank's maximum capacity. Many AdBlue containers are equipped with a nozzle that automatically stops dispensing when the tank is filled to capacity, so preventing overfilling.

Thank you for the information. Which brand of adblue do you recommend?

I am unfamiliar with the items or concepts that are present in the United Kingdom.

I purchased Redex Adblue from Amazon for £17.39, which provides 10 litres of the product. Given my driving habits and mileage, this quantity is expected to last me a significant period of time.

As previously said, it is important not to overfill the adblue as it might create problems when it solidifies. When you get the top-up adblue notification, it is safe to add 5 litres first, and you can add the remaining 5 litres at a later time.

I choose to use Halfords due to the convenience of their 5-liter plastic bags, which are sold in pairs for a total of £20, if I recall correctly.

The price of a 10-liter container of paint at B&Q is £11.99.

I have switched to using Halfords bags instead of the least expensive options. Although they may not be the most affordable, they are very convenient for pouring and disposing of waste. I had become tired of the increasing accumulation of empty plastic containers in my garage. :)
