Are there any advantages in terms of fuel efficiency or engine performance when using E5 RON 97-99 petrol instead of E10

I have transitioned from owning a 2010 Kia Rio powered by diesel fuel to a 2017 Kia Rio powered by petrol and equipped with a turbocharged petrol direct injection (T-GDI) engine.The colour is var(--neutral-800). In the past, I would fill my old Kia with any kind of diesel fuel, and it performed well for a decade, accumulating a mileage of 124,000 miles. Additionally, it achieved a commendable fuel efficiency.

Having not had a petrol vehicle for an extended period, I am curious whether anybody has any firsthand knowledge on the potential variations in fuel efficiency and engine maintenance while using RON 95 vs RON 97-99.The user's text is "[/COLOUR]".

I have come across information stating that GDI engines are prone to carbon accumulation on the intakes. However, I am uncertain if utilising RON 97 - 99 fuel instead of RON 95 will significantly impact this issue.

I have been use E5 fuel, which will aid in maintaining the cleanliness of the engine. Petrol Direct Injection (GDI) engines are prone to carbon accumulation.

And ideally, an increase in fuel efficiency and a more optimised combustion process.

Although it is more expensive, I have always had diesel vehicles, so I am not particularly concerned about the expense.

I added E5 fuel to my vehicle around every fourth tank. It seems to have a marginal positive impact on the fuel efficiency.

It is advisable to consistently use E5 fuel since it is less likely to thicken in cold weather while the vehicle is not being used. Since I only drive about 3000 miles per year, this is not a significant concern for me.

There is no distinction in mine. Consider using Millers Petrol Ecomax instead of spending a significant amount of money on E5 gasoline. I use E5 gasoline in my vintage automobile since it has a tendency to remain in the tank for extended periods of time, and Ethanol is known to be hygroscopic.

I have never used a fuel additive before, but I have seen that Redex offers a specialised solution designed for hybrid engines. Are you aware whether this product is comparable to the Millers Ecomax? Since my retirement, I now cover much less miles each year.
Would either option be compatible with my Sportage?
